With a palette and overall theme chosen, many brides take to Pinterest and start pinning floral inspiration. The discovery process is fun! And sometimes you stumble on to ideas you didn't consider initially.

2. With your color palette, style, and pins in hand, it's a good time to do a quick inventory of all the flowers you think you'll need. We have a Wedding Flower Checklist for you to download that allows you to do just that. Download that, complete it, and have it in hand as you visit florists, wholesalers, farmer/florists, etc. It will help you stay organized, communicate more clearly with vendors, and bring a sense of control and calm! And, I guarantee, if a florist sees you come in with that, they will be very excited to work with you! Organization goes a long ways to helping all parties with efficiency, especially with all of the moving parts one finds as part of a wedding.

This is a critical step in the timeline. This step is a free, no-obligation consultation. Our goal at this step is to put your mind at east around budgets and give you a glimpse into what we can do for you. It's time to relax about wedding flowers and enjoy the journey! As a florist, I want to bring you exquisite flowers to fulfill your vision. To that end, I share all of my expertise with you to:

4. Run a "Quick Quote" to give you an estimate of what your budget looks if you select all of the wedding florals you desire. At the end of our 1st consultation you should have enough information to decide if we can work within your budget.

Flower Timeline Step 3: Decide Final Flower Choices

Step 3 is our 2nd consultation, where we review bloom selections. I present you with a flower gallery, tailored to your needs, and based on discussions we had in our 1st consultation. We are drilling down into the details, and you'll know exactly how we will bring your vision to life: the flower colors and selections, how the flowers will complement your overall theme and style, who will receive personal flowers, what flowers you'll find in your ceremony and receptions pieces, and more. 95% of the details are decided at this point, and what remains are a few delivery logistics, which we handle in Step 4

Flower Timeline Step 4: 6-Week Check-in

It's time to finalize remaining details such as delivery times, if the Mom's want wristlet's or pin-on's, are the quantities for arrangements still accurate, etc. We order flowers 6 weeks before the wedding, so final payment is also due at this time.
