As you can imagine, I've seen a lot of wedding venues in Western NY state. Most of them are beautiful and well managed, as you would expect. Their staff and the management are focused on making it a great experience for the bride as well as the vendors. That's a key point, that they ensure both sides of the equation feel welcomed and taken care of. Let's dive in and take a look these venues around Western NY and I'll give you my personal review of Farmer's Creekside
One close to my floral studio is Farmer’s Creekside Tavern & Inn on Main St. It's an intimate, charming venue that was built in the early 1820's (yes, I love historical buildings) and rebuilt in the early 2000's.
Their intimate, charming venue has been awarded a couple of Diner's Choice Awards (among other awards) and they have a special location on the Oatka Creek so they can boast waterfront dining. I personally have attended several bridal/baby showers there, and indeed enjoyed appetizers on the deck and brunch in the upstairs private dining room. The restoration project was done with great taste, the service outstanding, and the food wonderful.
I also delivered flowers, table garland, and arbor greens for a wedding there. They had set up for the reception on the lower patio level, and the ceremony was on the upper deck. All nicely done and ready for vendors to begin deliverying the remaining essentials - flowers, cake, etc. Again, the staff was very helpful, accomodating, and flexible as we juggled the setup, filling vases with water, and handled the many final details of finding a home for the remaining decor.
I was espcially appreciative of Sarah Farmer, the owner of the venue, taking a few minutes when I arrived to introduce herself and welcome me to the venue, followed by a kind invitation to let me know if I needed any assistance. It told me that it's the kind of venue where they want everything done as well as it can be to make the day special for the bride and groom.
Here are a few pictures to share the overall ambience of this beatiful, treasure in Le Roy NY. Do you have any favorite wedding venues in Western NY that you have left a review for?
